Cabarete Bay is the site of the "Professional Windsurfing World Cup", and the "Master of the Ocean" event, which includes contests in the five sports of surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, standup paddle boarding, and wing foiling.

Lively nightclubs pulsing with Caribbean beats drive the nightlife scene.
